This question goes out to any current Motiv Staff Members. When you were accepted and agreed to become a Motiv Staff Member what are your required responsibilities? I have heard that other ball manfactures require their staff members to sell so many balls per year and so on to be on staff and I was just wondering what requirements Motiv requests of it's staff members.

Best person to answer your question is Brett Spangler. He is the Motiv Staff Manager, thus, the boss of all staff members. He is currently bowling in the big PBA events in Detroit so probably will not be able to answer your question until late next week. Good Luck!

Mick's right, I'm probably the best person to answer this question. There are a lot of aspects to being a staff player and responsibilities vary for staff players depending on their contract, location, and vocation. I'll just give you a list of some of the things staffers do. Keep in mind, few staffers are expected to do all of these.
- Work at MOTIV Test Drives and Industry Trade Shows (2x per year) - Write honest, articulate, and informative bowling ball reviews - Post well edited videos displaying how they use products in the line. - Make sales presentations to area pro shops when new products are released. - If they own a pro shop, they are expected to carry MOTIV balls in the shop. - Compete in three leagues or more a week. - Compete in area tournaments 2-3 times per month. - Have and maintain a Facebook and Twitter account.
You are correct that staff players are quite an investment. The company wants to make certain that in exchange for providing them with some of the best bowling balls on the planet that they can, in turn, sell some M rocks.
I'm sure that there are some aspects I'm forgetting. Also I'm watching the Butler game so this might not make a lot of sense. lol
