Post subject:  Step up from Reacon ?

Picked up a Reaon a few weeks ago as my venture in the nation.I have been using Lane 1 for a long long time.
So far 1...3 and a 798 with it
I am looking to go 1 step up from the Recon
I am a high rev (over 450) player med speed
I'm looking at a QZ-1 either purple or red or the SX-1
For now I will be using this in a couple of different houses, shot 39 ft christmas tree or 36 depending on the house.

I don't do well with flippy due to my revs

Thank you in advance for your help

You sound like me Randy, 420 RPM, 16 - 17 MPH. I switch almost everything to Motiv alittle over a year ago. I always had a rouph time getting other equipment down the lane with any sort of controlled reaction. I tried almost every layout but nothing really did the trick. Then I got a TX1 and blasted out a 300 two weeks later in a tournament. I have two RX1's and they both have drasticly different layouts, and I love both of them. I would recomend a QZ1, Stronger drilled RX1, or even a cruel with a weak layout. I never really match up with the SX1. I used two different layouts but never really had any sets to brag about. I drilled one of my RX1's with a Boomer layout, the other with 70x4.5x30. My QZ1 with a Reco layout, and my Cruel with a 55x5x10.

Check out my youtube page with the videos of some of my equipment. Good luck.

Michael

Is the TX-1 still available?

I agree with Mike - go with the red QZ1. It is stronger and earlier (not a lot, but enough), and with your rev rate you should get a real nice strong mid lane reaction, with a strong continueous motion (and the great carry power all MOTIV's have).
