I'd like to know the order of all of motivs cores from lets say strongest to weakest. I think i know the order of their coverstocks, but if anyone would like to list them too for varification that'd be great too.

My goal here is basically to see how a successful ball matches their covers to their cores. For example, does a ball manufacturer like to match up a weak core with a weak cover, or do they get better results mixing and matching? My thought, keep in mind i have no experiance in this, would be a med. to med/strong core wrapped in a weak cover would work well for me especially on my low oil house leagues. But then again, i dont know...

I'd like to hear what u all have to say. My ultimate goal is to see what everone thinks and then make a ball request to the staff.

In my opinion, core/cover matchup is the magic art of ball design and manufacturing. The farther you stray from an ideal match, the fewer bowlers will be successful with it.

I'll work on the list of cores and covers in a bit.

So if Motiv wraps a Thrust or Mega-Thrust core in Motivator-T, we'd have a Motiv TT-1?

Cool! make it silver and black and it'll match my car! ;)

In response to Justin's cover/core ratings, the attached excel file includes a consolidation of all the current ball stats. Gives you a quick snapshot of what's available and how it matches your needs. If I have any typo's or incorrect info, correct accordingly.

If you know excel, you can data sort the info however you want.

Even better. I drive a Quattro! ;)
