I'm still debating whether I'll get that, another QZ1 or 300C. I was starting to get better with the QZ1 until something in the back of the lane took a good chunk off of my ball. It's below my thumb hole but still where my track line would hit it. If I get the QZ2 it'll be a very tame layout (pin under bridge or 5 1/2" above the middle finger. The only problem I had with the QZ1 was that it was still quite angular off the spot on the drier lanes so maybe the 4000 grit polish will get it alittle further down the lanes for me.

Be careful, I have seen supposed tame layouts on the QZ1 end up with stomping backends. I drilled a QZ1R 65x35@5.5" and it hooks significantly more than anticipated. My 80x30@2.5" QZ1P however is nice and smooth. I'll be putting both layouts on a QZ2 so stay tuned!

Where would the pin and CG be placed on a ball that's 80x30@2.5"? I'm not too familier with the dual angle layouts though I've tried to read as much as possible about that type of measurements.

Hey Justin! Will you be treating us with a QZ2 vid?

Absolutely, I'm working on the storyboard as we speak so I can get working on it as soon as the balls show up.

Need to win some money in brackets and maybe a tournament, but I will have one in time. Debating on the layout though... I really need a 5 inch controll layout, also need a 2 1/2 controll laout and also would like to have a flip layout in the QZ line... decisions.... I guess the 5 inch will serve me best for all conditions.

I'm hoping to show the wide range of reaction possibilities in this upcoming video.

Can't wait to punch this gem up! The QZ1's are such awesome balls, I know this will be a great addition! And the color scheme is pretty sweet!

Has anyone taken a OZ1 to 4000 with PG Polish to get an idea of what this ball can do yet, or is everyone waiting around in suspense? My QZ1R is due for a bake/resurface and I was debating taking up to 4000 and polishing it just to see whats up, if i dont like it just take it back to OOB.
