When looking at the pics on the products link, the QZ2's weight block is inverted compared to the QZ1's. I understand the block is the same and symetrical, but will this affect the roll characterists of the ball, or only the surface prep will be the difference?

Just curious...

Willing to bet they just Fixed the picture to how it should be (pin on top). Look at the older balls and cores on Motiv's web page, that's how the balls are cast in the molds (pin down), and how they have them in the pics. Most ball companies show the cores with the pin up, and I think that's what they did it in the QZ2 pic, as well as the RX1, and C51. I'm sure the weight block is in the same position as the red and purple QZ1s. Staff members correct me if I'm wrong.

Color and surface. If you put it into the list of least to most hook
you'll find it in here, I think:

Recon

qz2
qz1 red
qz1 purple
sx1 - retired
Tx1 - retired
Sr2
Tr2
Cruel

That's if you leave them all at box surfaces.
I could be wrong about all of this, but I think I'm at least close.
Personally, I like the Recon for dry, Sr2 for Mids, and the Cruel for wet. If I were to make another purchase, it would be the qz2 to go in between the Recon and Sr2. Not sure how I'd drill it, but probably similar to the Recon.

My bad dude! Can't forget the Gt1... I guess it's above the Sr2 hookwise. My list is probably all wrong anyways.
