Events set to help Hall of Famer

Mark Roth changed bowling forever. However, tragedy hit the PBA Hall of Famer when he suffered a stroke in June. To help defray the cost of medical bills, folks from all over the country have been raising money to come to his aid. We as bowlers and fans have our chance to help with an auction of items donated by PBA superstars. The auction can be found at: http://www.charlestonbowling.com/markrothauction.htm

MOTIV has notified us that they will be donating a blank TX1 for our auction as well. So if you are looking for a new MOTIV ball to add to your arsenal place a bid and help out our fundraiser.

There also is a tournament at Royal Z Lanes in Columbia, SC on Dec. 26 with bowlers competing in singles and doubles simultaneously. The doubles portion of the tournament will pair an "old" dawg (over 50) and a "young" dawg (under 50). Entry fee is $100 for singles and $75 per person for doubles.
