First of all thanks for the input so far.

I would say A weak layout on a solid ascent and add a coat of polish to the box surface or taking it to 4000. The ascent is going to be predictable and consistent. My only worry about a recon is if it sees oil mine wiggles or rings tens.

Tens is what I don't want to have under all circumstances as that is my worst spare shot!
I was thinking about Ascent Solid more than about Ascent Pearl because of it's predictability.
But what (in dual angle) do you consider weak layout.
I talked to a Brunswick guy here today.
He recommended (of course) a ball from their line-up that I threw half a year ago (versa-max). I was resonable happy then but didn't want to buy it neither then nor today.
He recommended a layout as well (55x70x4,5 and a balance hole).
Would you consider this high sum of angles weak?
From what I understand about dual angle this will skid long and transition slow so it will go long and have an arching motion.
