Angela,
Got a question for you. Our league has switched from a its own THS to the USBC WHITE 1 pattern this year. My QZ2 is great by the 2nd game but not so hot in the first game. I've tried my Cruel but I just get too many 10 pins with it, and, after two years, I would like to get something new. A lot of Motiv balls are touted as being perfect from medium oil THS, but since we seem to have similar speeds, rotations, and preferred shot angles I was wondering what would be your 1st choice, 2nd choice for this pattern, assuming you're familiar with it, of course? Also, I pretty much want to use any ball with its out-of-box finish. Don't really want to fool around with changing the surface except to keep it clean and oil free Thanks for any advice.

jerrylee300,I've used the Thrash and the Sigma Tour with good results on the white pattern. Both balls were left in the OOB surface. Both balls gave me a good read at the bakend of the pattern without any drastic movement to the dry. Both balls are enough ball to recover from errant shots wide of target. With my speed anything else is too much ball for the backend, and does start checking up too early, leaving flat tens. Both balls got through the heads and saved up the energy for the backend. These balls are not flippy types, which helps me get a consistent read of the pattern.

Thanks Angela. That was very helpful. I've thought about the Thrash since it is similar in layout to the QZ2 and Silver Recon. Of course, everyone raves about the Tour. Hmmmm! Nice choice to have to make. I was really hoping you would throw in the new Primal Scream, it is such a good looking ball. But, performance outweighs looks. Thanks again.
