BTW I really don't think the Venom Strike is for light-medium for my experience with mine and see BTM's review of the Venom Strike they rate it OOB very close to the 2 Cruel....by strength I mean total hook 53. I'd say it's closer to a Thrash. JMO.

I would agree with Scott.
The Venom is crazy strong, if controlled.
But, just for everyone to consider--
There are very few absolutes in ball reaction, because there are so, so many variables that cannot be foreseen, in forever changing combinations.
A ball that is advertised as stronger than most people's reality (perception) instantly stigmatizes a company as being over-hyped.
Believe that.

scotts33, to answer your question I believe the Thrash Frenzy will replace the Primal Impulse in terms of chart position.
Brett has indicated that the Frenzy is a medium oil ball with a angular (fast) response to friction. This would be a late hook on the chart.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Impulse is taken out of the line in the near future.

If you .look at the chart Motiv put up the Impulse has been moved down to the ligh-medium oil location wich is where it should have been to begin. In my opinion i couldnt ever get it to finish on fresh oil shots

motiv2430, I didn't see that, but you're absolutely right. I agree that the Impulse should have been placed in that position from the get go.
Mine did make a hard snap at the end, but it was so easy to see over/under. Hooking the lane with it was a risky proposition.
More often than not I would use the Impulse from 10 and out when needing a lot of length through the front and a quicker response to friction to kick out the corners.
