Very well put Justin, however I don't strike near as much as you and Motiv is still amazing in my mind. Motiv is only the third brand I've thrown in my so far short bowling existance.... and with the exception of my t-zone and storm three ball roller I am at this point only buying Motiv equipment and plan to stay that way regardless of how popular or well known they become.
Coolerman- If i'm incorrect on this then sorry, but if you took offense to my previous post on this thread i apologize, was just trying to make a point that we seem to get into this debate once every few weeks and its always the same result.

The biggest issue is that in today's business environment in a recession economy, frugality is key. As an end user we don't see the path beyond a few weeks, or months at best. We have to trust the decision making of the company, and their vision far outreaching our own. I would much rather take 150k and ensure a few months payroll for my employees or add 100 staffers than pay the PBA full registration fee. On the cost vs. return scale, PBA approval just doesn't add up yet.
The fact is that Motiv, although experiencing exponential growth, is still a new company. They have some of the best equipment in the industry, and hopefully will continue to meet their very high standards. We have the easy part of that deal, go out and promote the gear through our attitudes and success.

No, blueliner011,you are correct.I'm having some problems with the Storm crowd in my area (Detroit).Everyone of the Storm crowd keeps the B.S up ,about MOTIV not being reg. for national tournaments, and only having hack "staffers".They only see national players for storm, and nothing else matters to them. When I try to explain to them what we all have went over, about grass roots, and growing from the local outward they just don't get it or care. What makes me upset is this is a Michigan company,With the economy as bad as it is in Detroit and Michigan, you would think they would give the company a chance.
I understand the loyalty people have to certain companies that they like, but what I don't understand is the negative remarks about junk products.I'll wait until they work the bugs out. I'll buy MOTIV when they stop making spare balls. When MOTIV makes something that actually hooks then I may try one. The balls look all alike, and they are not sharp looking enough and so on.
I was looking forward to Danny throwing it on a national stage.Great free adv. and a good way to see if it matches up well to his game.Just looking for feedback from someone of Danny's caliber .So no, I'm not made at you, just all the Detroit, MOTIV haters.

2 weeks ago when the PBA Tour was in town here in Fountain Valley CA for the Dick Weber Open I had a chance to talk to Danny about MOTIV and he said that the company gave him some equipment and he likes it very much, but due to the Grass Roots Reg. and also having a ball deal with Storm/RotoGrip he can not use the balls on tour and as far as him being a staffer he said no he was'nt..he said he gave permission to MOTIV to use his name and photos..He said he would love to see MOTIV get a Full Registration so he can one day use it on tour..
