Hi Guys.. Good to see some sucess out there & some great scores..

I'm looking to increase my arsenal of motiv equipment..
So far I have the 2Cruel, P7 Raptor, Sigma Tour..
At the 2 houses I bowl at i'm having great sucess with my 2Cruel
For me it has great lenth with sharp backend. Not flippy
My Raptor hooks overall less than the 2cruel, but its nice & smooth when I need it to be when the 2cruel is to jumpy..
My Sigma Tour is an awesome ball & it will be hard to leave it out of
my bag when the time comes. But ATM i'm mainly using it for a spare ball.

What i'm after is a ball that will fit below my 2cruel but above the Sigma Tour..
With a similar shape to the 2cruel. Just less overall hook..
Going by the Motiv ball chart the Thrash Frenzy about right..
But from what I have read it can be very flippy on the dry..
My last skid/flip ball I had was a Roto Grip Bandit..
Which I didnt like at all & just could'nt get it to roll consistant.
Even after trying 3 different drilling & all sorts of surface adjustments.
The other choice is the Venom Toxin. Which on looks alone wins..
But going by the ball chart its weaker than the Sigma Tour..
A Primal Scream maybe to close to the 2cruel to think about..

My specs are as follows: Though this was done about a year ago.
PAP = 5 over - 1/2 up
Ball Speed = 16mph
Rev Rate = 330-350
Tilt = 12 *
Rotation = 50 *

My 2cruel is driled: 65x40@4" P3 hole. as advised by Justin
And it rolls beautifully :)

Any advise will be greatly appreciated..
As living in Australia. Buying the ball then shipping then drilling fee then inserts & slug.
There is not much change from $300

Peter

The Raptor Attack is perfect. It has a very similar reaction to the p7 but works the best when the p7 gets to strong. I have the p7 and attack and they are the perfect duo. The sigma tour will fit right underneath. Theirs no other ball that will fit inbetween that nice.

I suggest the Sigma Hybrid as another option. I have mine drilled relatively long and angular and it is perfect when the lanes just start to transition on the back end of the pattern. The cover let's it read stronger than the Tour but the shared Sigma core gives you a predictable response and shape. If you would like to keep the relatively same shape as the 2Cruel then don't shy away from the Primal Scream with a surface change to achieve the length you are looking for out of the ball. A light polish or a drop down in grit has an amazing impact on this ball.

Just my 2 Lincolns
