Where would the TR2 and SX1 fit in the Current Motiv Line?

I do not have a TR2, but I can speak to the SX1. The SX1 is a very 'weak shelled ball', when compared to most of the shells Motiv has today. The core, however, is the tried and true Sigma core. This ball has the same core as the Sigma tour and SR2.

It gives a good midlane read on very dry lane conditions. As far as 'where' it would fit today? My opinion is that this ball would compare to a 'rolly Ascent', perhaps the Ascent Solid. I feel my Ascent Solid has a little more 'pop' on the backends than the SX-1.

The SX-1, for me, is a GREAT ball. I have thrown a number of 300 games and 800 series'.

Hope that helps.

The TR2 was a lot of ball for me. I'm going to guess that it would fall in somewhere in the neighborhood of where the Sigma Hybrid sits on the current ball guide. I've never seen a Sigma Hybrid go down the lane though, so I'm not trying to compare the two balls. Rather, I'm thinking that the TR2 would fit in the Early Hook column and in the Medium-Heavy oil category. Your mileage may vary.
