I use a rhino cobalt that has a pancake block in it. I toss at my spares a bit more flat and more speed so no worries on it moving. It also works well on bone dry lanes.

Absolutely I had a Rhino red wish I had that ball still but I don't so looks like since I have my mind set on the Primal TV4 it will be awhile before I get a spare ball unless I find one really dirt cheap used but we will see thank you sir

The only thing Storm equipment is good for in my opinion, is air freshener. I love a pro shop that smells of lovely aromatherapy.

However, when my white dot got tore up by a hungry ball return, I picked up the Storm Blue Ice. Now, I can guarantee you this, when Motiv releases their spare ball, this one will be on the used rack immediately. I only use it for 3, 6, 9, or 10 pins, everything else I use a slightly modified version of my Dick Ritger Bowling Academy training from 16 years ago!

You could just jack a house ball that's a good weight for you and have it plugged then re-drilled.

I needed new shoes and was being cheap about it. My team mate said to me "Your spare ball and shoes will be used every time you bowl. Is that the place to cut corners?"

Spend the $50-70, get a spare ball that fits your hand.
