It is on ballreviews.com already. Sounds like a June release

It's a summer release. This is our cleanest/most angular combo ever and it isn't even close. The shell is new and honestly it's the first time we have a home run cover on the Quadfire core. People will finally get to see what that core can really do.

This is the ball that Ronnie and Dick made their runs with on the Bear pattern at the PBA Summer Swing to make the TV Finals.

Hey Brett, I assume this is a Thrash Frenzy replacement. How does the Octane compare in overall strength and shape to the TF?

And how does this cover compare in reaction time to the Fusion pearl in the Tribal (and others)?

That's interesting that it's a Hybrid cover but it's going to be very clean and angular.

The "Quadfires" have been some of my favorite balls from Motiv. I need this one.

The Octane is something special !! I have been fortunate to throw one & I really like what I see. I have a Backdraft that is drilled RICO and it reacts excellent on med-med dry lanes, so being the cores are the same, I drilled a RICO Octane. The Big O is significantly stronger than the Backdraft. I was able to jump 5 boards left right off the bat. What impressed me was the continuation thru the pin deck. I think if I would have had another rack of pins right behind the 8 - 9 pin, I would have knocked all 10 of those down as well. :)

It's a new generation of cover. We are pushing limits. This is like an immensely improved thrash frenzy. It's cleaner, faster, and better through the pins.
