Post subject:  Octane Burn~Oil Sensitive

I am looking for a ball to use after my pin in ring Venom Shock @4000 on fresh starts to plaque. I had a Venom Panic that I did not like which too me was oil sensitive and did not do well on slight carry down after transition. Is the Octane Burn that ball? How oil sensitive is it?

BTW....I love the Venom Shock best all around ball for me and others that I have seen use it!

Thanks!
Scott

On edit: I got my answers. Probably going to go with a Venom Cobra pin above.

I know we discussed this elsewhere, I hope you like your Cobra.

Seems this site has pretty much moved on to the Facebook side of things. Too bad, I really liked the discussions here.

Thanks spmcgivern and agreed this forum is an under utilized tool that Motiv should put some energy into. Not all live on FB.

I agree. This forum used to be fun to read but we're down to about one post a month. FB ok but not for the types of discussions carried on here. Still nothing on the new Revolt. I first saw it on a pro shop web page. Should have seen it here first. Methinks Motiv is ignoring its customer base and will, sooner or later, pay the piper for it.

I wouldn't say Motiv is ignoring the customer. They are probably getting significantly more views through Facebook than this website. Facebook is accessible to people at all times since so many people have it open all the time. The website is different where the customer has to open the browser and load the pages to get to the information. It is more time consuming (and data consuming).

This forum is here for the customers, but it will be whatever we make it. Motiv has provided the same information they always have with ball releases and the such. What made this forum great was its members, not Motiv.
