Love this ball (well love them all) but was leaning towards the GT1 for my favorite after shooting 300 out of the box. Motiv sent me the Red QZ1 and shot 300, 299, and a 815. Ball rolls amazing and hits like a ton of bricks. Anyone else loving this ball????

What layout and surface prep did you choose?
The quizzes are extremely hard to beat at the price point, not for overall hook, but scoring potential.

I've had mine for a few weeks now and it's OK. Tend to get under/over reaction at times but it depends on how much the lanes dry up. My GT1 would have to be hooking too much in order for me to use my QZ1. The carry is pretty good and has alot of length and pop in the backend. Now I'm just waiting for another pearl release from Motiv that's alittle stronger in the backend since I have a huge gap right now between these two balls. Considered the SR2 before but I don't like using polished solids.

I have a tic-tac-toe on one and haven't gotten the other one drilled up yet.

Had a QZ1 Red drilled, took it from counter to lane first ball.... like a semi into the pocked for an X, cleaned up a 6/10, threw a turkey, another 6/10 which ended with a 10 still standing, threw a ham bone, and a 9 with the fill ball cleaning up a ringing 10....... a 235 OOB, not a big deal for some of the high rollers on here but for me in my resurgence in bowling this was huge.... LOVE THIS BALL!
