Has anyone drilled up a QZ1 red to make it become a skid/snap or a skid/flip? Where I bowl for leagues in CA they are starting to to lay fresh oil down. But I would also like to use it when the lanes also start to break down with out having to change balls.
Thans for the advice
Derek

Mine is drilled with pin 5 1/2" from PAP and it's is snappy when the lanes are drier and I can play more inside the middle. Unfortunately, the lanes has not been quite dry enough lately for me to use my QZ1 but when it is it's pretty good. If you have alot of revs you could play down and in on the fresh oil but carrydown will be an issue with the QZ1 Red unless you change the surface or go with even the purple ball.

I will talk to my ball driller and see how he layed out both of my Red QZ1's. I have no problem standing 25 or 30 and swinging the lane on fresh oil. I am left handed with a very high rev rate and about 17mph. I know one is the tic tac toe pattern not sure how the other is drilled.
