Just an observation...
When the year started in my classic league, I was the ONLY person who was throwing MOTIV. I got a lot of "whats that?" type questions. A 300 and some big scores early made people start to watch (also wearing MOTIV shirt every week and having flyers available helped).
last night on my pair, no less that 4 different MOTIV balls were on the rack, being used by 4 different players - I pulled my head out my backside long enough to go 277/723. I was very excited to see that many on the rack. It was also great to see the word is spreading about how great these balls are! Almost every week i get asked "what about this one, or that one?" or "which one do you think would work best for me?". I love to educate bowlers. Knowledge is the key (and some practice helps also).
Staying MOTIVated...
Jeff

Jeff....
I've seen the same thing at a few of the local ally's I play at. When I had my bowling resurgence in late August of last year I had never even seen a Motiv ball, and there was no one throwing them in any of my leagues. Over the past few weeks I have noticed that theres always at least 2 or 3 people on the lanes at any given time throwing Motiv, whether it be a practice session or a league, theres at least one Motiv ball on the rack. I don't think its to far fetched to say that Motiv will soon be as abundant as a Strong or Ebonite around the league seen, GREAT JOB GUYS!

Same here in the Cincy area of Ohio. I know that I have personally taken people to the pro shop and have them order Motiv equipment. Its nice to see so many people getting Motivated!!!! Especially for a great company and staff like Motiv has. Everyone keep up the great work!

Exact same thing here in Quebec city (Canada). I started the year off with Motiv and now after 5 months, I've drilled quite a few of them and people are very satisfied with their ball reactions. There are always those that think this is a sub-par company with the color of the balls but after seeing the scores I post and others, they are starting to change there views on Motiv. Keep up the great work Motiv, soon enough we will see them on the PBA tour...

Yeah... I drilled up my sr2 this past friday and bowled with it Friday night. People were asking... what ball is that? Wow it hits hard! I had some nice messenger shots, at least 1 per game. Everybody was impressed. And it's the same league as the user connersdad (Joel Ray)... there were already 3 more people that have motiv in that league because of him! Well, 4 counting me! We're tag-teaming em, Motiv nation!

The success of MOTIV is growing in the Detroit area finally. A lot of people are seeing high scores being shot with the equipment, they in turn, are asking about the company.I have finally overcome a ten month struggle with injuries and asthma. The feeling of being injury free is paying off.The last three sets I have bowled are 737, 788,720, with 2-289's & a 277 thrown in.It feels great to not to walk into a center and feel like you are leaving something on the table.People really understand what this equipment does when they see high scores. The scores really open their eyes. What they notice is the true read that they can get from this equipment.Other equipment they have used really confuses them, when they try to read they break point.
Final note.Never bad mouth another ball company to a perspective MOTIV buyer. This just makes you look bad and MOTIV. Stay above petty comparisons, just tell them why you like MOTIV ,and why I may be the right choice for them. Until next time;stay positive my MOTIV friends.

Motiv girl... I've talked to lots of people about motiv lately, and the one thing I've referenced to them was the story of Motiv, which hits hearts of people in my area, as companies have laid off, and/or shipped their work to Mexico, etc. When I tell them about Motiv re-opening the plant after Brunswick's move to Mexico, they're impressed with that story. My dad's a union guy for GE, and he knows nothing about bowling. When I told him the story, he said, distinctively, "buy from them."

They didn't take over the Brunswick Muskegon plant, they outfitted their existing plant to accommodate pouring balls as well as cores. This has been a point of confusion I have come across frequently in discussions of the brand and their story.MOTIV GIRL wrote: I have finally overcome a ten month struggle with injuries and asthma.
