Let me just start by saying that i ABSOLUTELY LOVE MOTIV BOWLING. i simply refuse to throw anything else!!!
my question is what would be an advantage of having all of my motiv bowling balls drilled with the exact same layout be???

Depending on the type of bowling you do it may be OK. However, even if you stay in the same house on what is supposed to be the same pattern, you will run into those times when the lanes are a little different. At times like that, having a ball set-up to give you a different reaction is probably a good idea. If you get out and bowl tournaments at all, the I would STRONGLY advise NOT to layout everything the same.

Keep in mind, each ball has a certain characteristic to it. one layout that will work on one ball may not match up so well in another. The one good thing is that using the same layout is a great way to see what each ball does in a general comparison to each other, but that may not fit your goals when setting up an arsenal.
