Ok... Just drilled up my first Motiv ball... Sr2 drilled 50x4.5x40, with no hole. Seems to hit pretty damn hard. Bowled out of the box in league tonight and did a little playing around with it, but 677, with each game gettting better (208, 225, 244) and I'll admit... I was throwing it all over the place the first game, experimenting.. Hadn't bowled in a few weeks, either. But it got the attention of everyone on my pair of lanes, and the surrounding pairs, when I had some shots shredding the racks, and about 3 or 4 messengers on light hits... Very impressive. I think I can hone this ball's actions down to a science with maybe another 3 games, and we'll see how things go! Should be good. I guess you can consider me MOTIVated! Tax return comes soon... maybe we'll beef up the arsenal with more MOTIV balls!

Well, generally with any newer equipment, if you have a decent amount of rev's on the ball, you want to move in left and swing it right on most house shots. And keeping your right shoulder down is actually important these days, as opposed to 10-15 years ago when being square to the foul-line was more important. I bowl a lot and it's like repetition to me. My teammates ask me advice and I dunno what to tell them, because I do it without thinking anymore! Good luck, and mahalo!
