I have aprox 19 degrees of axis tilt and am told its one of the reasons my shot is real sensitive to speed variance. How does one go about reduceing axis tilt?

A high tilt number is an indication of a small diameter track. That will limit the amount of friction a ball can create, and will result in erratic reaction and sensitivity.

Trying to keep your hand under and behind the ball a bit more to raise your track and increase diameter is one method, working the inside of the ball as it were.

If you know your axis coordinates, speed, and rev rate we could look at some layouts to help you out along the way. Wholesale changes at the release are some of the most difficult because it is highly dependent on feel, and happens so quickly.
