I have a Toxin and love the reaction and drive through the pins. Looking for a ball to go to when the lanes get fried and the Toxin gets too squirty. Any thoughts?

I am fairly high rev with an inverted track, 5 over and 1 down.

Sumo, my first suggestion would be the original Ascent. It is a bit weaker than the newer Ascent Apex and a good step down from the Toxin.

The newer Ascent Apex is listed below the Toxin, but the newer coverstocks Motiv have been using are significantly stronger than before. I am afraid the Ascent Apex will be too close in reaction strength to the "older" Toxin.

With all that said, one comment you made concerns me. You say want a ball to move to when the lanes get "fried" and the Toxin becomes "squirty". Providing a little more information about what you are experiencing might allow the members here better match you to the right ball. A combination of fried and squirty might require a different approach than balling down.

I have to agree with the above. I just got my apex and have it drilled label leverage. I'm a little more rev dominant, and it has basically replaced my toxin in my arsenal. The original ascent might be the best fit. Just my 2 cents.
