Just picked up a NIB SR2 and need a good layout for it. My Raptor is my benchmark ball because my league shot is the Kegel High Street. The specs on the SR2 are 15.3# 2.4" pin and 3 oz top.
My specs are: 18.5 mph Rev Rate - 409 Tilt - 11.5 degrees PAP - 4 7/8 left 3/4 up
Need something to throw that will still have the backend look but will make it through the heads after the Raptor burns it up a little.

What is the layout on the Raptor? And, what surface do you bowl on? W/O knowing these factors my stab at it would be 65x4.5x35 w/P2 or P3 hole depending on the final desired reaction. Some surface adjustment may be in order as well. Hope this helps & good luck.

Here's the layout on my Raptor. I think it was 55x4.25x45 with a P1.5 hole. I can't remember for sure. JustinWi sent me the drilling for this ball. I bowl on 10 yr old Brunswick synthetics.

In PM on BBE I gave you for the Raptor: 60x40@3.75" P2 or P1 hole
On your SR2: 55x45@4.75" Hole 2" down the VAL

Thanks Justin. Taking the ball today to get drilled. I'll let you know how it goes.

Drilled up ball before putting a hole in it and it's legal. Should we still place the hole?

Throw it first. If you want it to read a bit earlier place the hole.

Ball is sweet! It moves through the heads nice and makes a huge turn off the spot. I'm not sure if I should hit it with 2000 or place a P3 hole at this point?

Surface and differential have a similar impact on ball motion. Surface changes are reversible.
How do you want to change the ball motion?

I'd like for it to roll up 2' sooner.
