I have a qz1 drilled 75x5x50 and a qz2 drilled 70x4x35. I won a qz2 backdraft in raffle (lucky me). The only reason I never bought it is because I don't know where it fits in my arsenal. any suggestions on what I can do with it. I'm not selling it so don't ask haha ;-).

stats:
17 mph
300 rpm
7* - 10* tilt
30* - 60* rotation
RH
PAP: 4 7/8 over 1/2 up

sorry for so many looks and no answer.

But I have to ask, are the other balls you listed the only ones you have?

I do know that the new ball you won will be stranger then both you have listed. You may want to play towards that strength in the ball when thinking of a drilling to use on it.

Sorry if its no much help, but i'm sure someone will get to you soon.

Which color QZ1? And what surface prep do your current QZs have?

qz1 purple at 4000 and qz2 at 4000. Is there really a difference between the red and purple qz1's?

I also own sigma tour drilled 70x5x35. A primal drilled 75x5x55. A SX1 drilled 80x5x45.

After thinking about it for a week I am thinking of going with a 50x5x50 with a hole. It will be awhile till I'm ready to drill it. So if anyone else has suggestions I would like to hear them.

Try something a little different with this one.

60x55@4.5" No hole, have it blend the mids a little more. You are a low tilt player, but sometimes on volume a ball that burns it quick will be an asset to carry.

Is there a significant difference between a red and purple qz1 besides box finnish? An ebonite ball rep. once said to me that coverstock color affected ball reaction. I never believed that but is it true?

Pigments are still a chemical component of the coverstock. The degree of impact is debatable, but the QZ1P was noted by many to be more even reading than the QZ1R, even at equivalent surface prep.
