I picked up an SX-1 to go between my purple QZ-1 and my Reacon.
curious on a drilling for it. High rev med to slower speed. Want it go get some length

The biggest thing to worry about will be the surface. 4k and polish if you want it go go long.
Take a second look at my recon vid, you can clearly see the difference between the SX1 and RX1 with identical drill patterns.
What layouts do you have on the other two balls?

I went with High track length drilling on purple per drill sheet
and on the Reacon pin above ring small weight hole

Are you looking for a sharper or smoother breakpoint?

I like the ball smooth. The purple drilled on your suggestions as well as the Reacon are that way nice and smooth.
with the higher revs the ball being flippy for me, makes it difficult to be consistent

Before drilling, hit it with 4k Abralon, then Polish.
Do a 65x70@5". You most likely will not need one, but if you need it a bit weaker place a P1 hole. Keep an eye on the statics before you place the hole.
This layout is a bit weaker than the second SX1 featured in the Recon vid. The surface is at 1k Abralon in the video, with 4k and polish you should see a weaker reaction. Sliding the SX1 between the RX1 and QZ1 can be tough sometimes, it likes to hook.
