got 2 new 15# primal impulses, 2.8 pin and 3.8 pin. These are my first Motiv purchase ever. Will be bowling on hpl and pro anvilane surfaces. need an idea of how to drill them. will be bowling on med to light ths 41 ft and need one for the fresh and the other for third game they are usually fried by then. Kinda leary cause i keep hearing about over/under and there is only one other guy who has this ball at the house i bowl in. Was thinking 50x 5 1/16x 40 and the other 50x 4 3/4x 65.

60x40@5.5" No Hole Box Surface for the burn, 50x55@4.5" P3 Hole 2k or 1k for the fresher shot.
Over/Under can be fixed by adding surface.

thanks Justin punched them up last Friday after horrid night of league play with the above layouts. the 50x65x4.75 works good on fresh and the 50x40x5 1/16 could be used for the burn. will add a P3 hole for the 50x65x4.75 after i put in the switch grips. If i have to use a hole for the 50x40x5 1/16 it will be a P2 more than likely. thanks for your help

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I started at a new shop and the last couple of weeks have been a bit nuts. Haven't had much forum time.

So with the layouts that I have the pin under ring finger is stronger and a P3 would make that a good ball for the fresh. The pin above the ring finger will work on the burn. If I have to put a weight hole in the ball for the burn then a P2 would be the best, correct?

Any pics? Do you have a DeTerminator, and do you have 60* spin times?

I do not have access to a determinator. I am only drilling ball for myself in my basement. No one around here doesn't have one either, so unfortunately I do not have the 60* spin time. The top pic is 50x65@4.75 and the bottom pic is 50x40@5 1/16
