My QZ2s are due on Monday, the video will be done shortly thereafter. I'll let you in on the plan a little early.
Ball #1: Control 70x45@2.5", P2 hole Ball #2: Strong(Same as in the other videos for comparison) 60x75@4.5" Ball #3: Super Flip 75x35@5.5"
This video is intended to show the range of reactions that can be seen in the QZ2, and the rest of the QZ line. It will also take the place of the older QZ1 video that was lost.
Stay tuned!

Not only does this ball look great, but it is another great product from the folks at Motiv. I tried a layout on this ball that I have had a lot of success with on other balls, and this ball out preformed both of the previous balls. I drilled this one at 30x40x4.5" pin(will still need a weight hole). This reaction was very smooth and the ball still broke hard off of the spot. Even if you have the QZ1's this ball is a must have! Great Job Motiv!

I'm filming the introduction at the shop tomorrow, and hopefully lane time Friday. I'm shooting for Sunday for the video to be edited and uploaded.

Would you remind me again of the reaction style of the 2" pin. I am afraid of that drilling, just because it doesn't seem like it would provide a booming reaction, covering too few boards to be useful on a THS. I don't bowl many tournaments on difficult shots, just a travel league on other house shots. What is the utility of this layout?
BTW- your info about the percentage change of differentials based on x hole placement seems to have saved my TR2. Thanks!

I don't bowl many tournaments on difficult shots, just a travel league on other house shots. What is the utility of this layout? I currently have a purple QZ1 at 75x40@2.5" with a P2 hole. It is the first ball out of my bag. It responds well to friction and rolls heavy in oil. It allows me to effectively open up wet/dry shots by enabling me to play closer to the friction. I am a bit rev dominant, so this layout affords me control. I did tweak the layout just a touch from the purple to this one, but will be carrying this QZ2 because it is just too darn beautiful to not.plamormick wrote: BTW- your info about the percentage change of differentials based on x hole placement seems to have saved my TR2. Thanks! Awesome! Glad it helped you out.

I thought it looked similar to a double thumb layout also.
Ball is nice looking for sure
