Hi,
I have recently ordered the motiv cruel and was wondering if someone could help me with a suggested layout. Unfortunately I don't know as much about layouts and drilling as I would like.
I am a two handed lefty and bowl about 17mph. We currently have a house pattern of 39feet. However I'm looking at this ball as more of an investment for when I play on more sport patterns and tournaments.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Matt

Your stats will be needed. pap, tilt, the more you give the better the advise.

most all twohanded bowls layouts work better with fullrollers...i have been one for 17 years ...there are some others that work also...jason belmo..all his balls are fullrollers ...

If possible more specific stats on your delivery would be helpful. Primarily rev rate and tilt, as well as what conditions you are looking for it to attack. Is it intended to be an arsenal piece for when you encounter oil?

Yeh my PAP is 6" over .75" up Don't know my tilt unfortunately. Does that matter too much?

Rev rate is 500-550.
I am thinking of this more for the longer patterns, 44-45 foot. Most of my balls are currently mid range. This will be my primary high performance ball.

With a rev rate that high, use a drilling angle of 70*. If you want it smoother 55* VAL angle, sharper 35* VAL angle. Use a 5.5"-5.75" pin.
