Because I was getting a little tired of stone 9 pins, and was curious what would happen. I have been using 14s and leaving 8s 9s and ringing 10s recently after a lesson fixed up my timing and leverage. So last night I punched it and headed off to bowl.
268, 227, 201 for 696.
No 9 pins, a few ringing 10s, a couple of messengers, and a few bad shots in the last game.
The Motiv line features the high performance blocks into the lighter weights, and I sure can tell when this ball hits the pins, it is pretty unbelievable.
I'll keep throwing it on high friction house shots, and even try it next week on the sport shot. This could get interesting.

I haven't even measured the angles yet. I took it out of the box, drew the grip center line and went at it.

I like the old school approach to the drilling! Punch it up and get after it! I'm still a 15# bowler, myself. Maybe I'll give 14 a whirl sometime!

To be honest, Justin, you could take a 10# turd and shred a rack. Don't go too light- you might rip the cover loose and shift the core inside the ball!
