This is my house pattern

Issues:
All my equipment overreacts in the dry (low track issues) and under reacts in the oil

I would like to play more 12-8 than inside where I must play with all of my equipment

My best ball is a Primal Impulse with a 5x4 drill on it - box finish - and I still have to play too far in

Most of my balls have 5" pins - I do have a Sigma Tour with a 6x4 and still under or over hooks

I was thinking about another Primal Impulse with a 4x5 layout - pin right of my ring finger and the CG in my palm
(Sorry - I am not fluent in dual angle layout terminology)

Or since I am new to the Motiv line - is there another ball that would be better?

I'm not sure I understand what your issue is 100%, but it sounds like you're having over/under issues.

You want a ball that has more surface, and creates more midlane roll as opposed to length and snap.

A Sigma Hybrid or Ascent Solid may be your answer. These balls will force (allow) you to play straighter, and probably a bit further to the right than what you're using now.

The only downside with playing farther right is that you become more aware of the transition, as your stuff will read it sooner (in the night).

I understand surface combats over under.

More surface for me just means earlier hook.

Since it is Pro Lane - you cannot just pick up the speed or you leave weak 10's
