I am currently having some issues getting my balls to finish as I get into the last game of league play. Instead of the heads drying up and having to move left I find myself having to keep moving right and I just cannot get the ball to finish well. I have been trying all of my different Motiv balls from a dull raptor to a polished Sigma Hybrid. My Hybrid seemed to work well tonight but again as we got into the 3rd game I just could not get the ball to want to drive into the pocket.

I was thinking about playing around with some surface adjustments and I just wanted some input. Has anyone tried sanding their ball starting at around 180 then goto 360 and then just polish from there. My thought was to give the ball some surface friction with the 360 and the polish would help it get down the lane and give me the snap at the back end. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Other than to say "the Hybrid is *not* a backend-y ball", I would tell you that you may be on the right track.

Getting the ball to start a bit sooner may (or may not) help fight a carry-down track; you may also look at adjusting ball speed to compensate, or you may have to try playing a different zone on the lane; somewhere left or right of the track down lane.

It will take a bit of tinkering to find just the right combination.

I'm surprised that the Raptor doesn't have your back, though.
