My specs:
PAP: 5" Right - 1.25" Down Rev Rate: 425 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH
I was thinking about using the 70x40 @ 3.75" (possibly lengthening the distance to 4") in Justin's video for the scream. I have the exact same layout listed in my sig below but it hasn't been punched up yet. No clue about the thrash.
Going tomorrow to the pro shop so let me know.

Can't argue with that layout, it reads the lane quite strong.

Any holes to fill or shots you can't hit well?

In my area, there's not very many houses that I can't line up properly with my current arsenal. I got a sweet deal on the Thrash so I couldn't pass it up. I would say I need something a little stronger than my backdraft and a little less than the PI and Primal. However, I think with my current layouts that's a pretty small window. I only struggle on short patterns which I plan on picking up the Ascents for around Christmas. Got any suggestions?

Do the Thrash 70x35@3", no hole to start. This will give you an entirely different read than the rest of your balls, and should slot between the Primal and Backdraft. The trick will be surface, it will probably be the strongest of those 3 out of the box. 4k might be more appropriate.

Shot 203, 230, 181 with the Primal last night. Needed to change the third game but wanted to throw a whole series with the ball. Tonight going to try the Thrash. Thanks Justin.

So the Primal Scream is a lot of freaking ball. What's the best way to take some hook out of this bad boy? Polish? Surface change? Shot 230, 235, 149 with the OG Primal on Friday. Needed to change but again wanted to throw three games to see what kind of looks I'd get all game. Still haven't thrown the Thrash yet. Bowling again tonight. Looks like my arsenal going forward will be the OG Cruel, OG Primal, QZ2 and my soccer ball (spare ball). Thanks for the recommendations Justin.

Try some shine to get it further down the lane, a little more surface to help it blend if it is too sharp.
