Bob Michalojko you have been so right on for me how about a layout for the new venom strike saw one 35x4.75x35 what do you think?

Depends on what conditions you plan on throwing it on & what you are looking for it to do. This ball is alittle like the Backdraft, ie: sneaky strong. Your layout will work if there is a fair amount of head oil w/max. pattern length of 38'-40'. For a more overall reaction/layout, back the numbers to 45/50 x 4.25"-4.5" x 40. The Gear core is rather tame but this is a more aggressive coverstock than what was on the GT1 . . still my favorite Cheetah ball. Hope this helps & good luck.
