Ok... I'm an HVAC guy so I've got some crap lying around. I have a motor, which I think would be a decent, just-strong-enough motor for a ball spinner. Pretty sure it's 1/4 HP.
Is there a way to buy an attachment for the shaft, which is essentially a ball cup, that will stay on the shaft with a set screw? Or is there some other rigged up ideas out there for it? I'm just brain-storming what to do. Throw some ideas at me!

Check youtube for homemade bowling ball spinners. One guy used an old food prosesser. I use a vortex 1/2 HP persional ball spinner. Haven't had a problem ever with it. Keeps the ball steady and does a killer job without maxing out my credit card. Rather spend the 250 on a kick @$$ spinner then tinker with spare parts and spend 3 bills. Well, I've got the expensive part, the motor. So, there should be something that I'd attach to the shaft to form a ball cup... The rest I've got ideas on as far as a frame goes, using wood mostly.
