New to Motiv, reading the reviews, and like what I see. I have been away from the game, and looking to upgrade to Motiv.

I am a low rev, medium speed bowler, I currently use Hammer Pain, Brunswick Twisted Fury, and Roto Grip Classic 73.

Was looking at a lower rg ball, that would carry awhile, then pick up.

Looking to pick up two Motiv balls, one for heavy oil, and one for later in the night or dryer lanes when bowling with the kids.

Any suggestions to a new comer is welcome.

First, welcome to Motiv-nation! Glad to have you aboard. Going by the little info you've provided & w/o seeing you through take a look at the GT! and/or the SR2. They are the lower RG Motiv balls. GT1 is very smooth off the pattern due to weaker core but it has a great coverstock that will cut throw oil when encountered. The SR2 will have more overall hook put due to the PG Polish it will get down the lane alittle better. However, I have dulled one up w/1000 wet sand w/semi-aggressive drilling and (as my teenage girls say) OMG !!! Anyhow, those are my suggestions. Whatever you decide on, you won't go wrong getting a ball from MOTIV !!!

Given your specs I'd favor a Cruel or possibly TR2 for the soup, then move to an SR2. Choose the Cruel if you like more even reactions, the TR2 if you want to see more movement at the end of the pattern.
