ball is drilled 60*x 4 3/4"x20*
I love the way the ball rolls for me but it is too early up front for what I wanted it for.the back end is very tame and exactly what I was looking for. should I try a P1 wt. hole or something like controll it? I've allready polished it up even more on the spinner but that didn't help much.I'd hate to have to give up on this ball but so far it's not going to stay in my bag of trix if I can't find an option.

P1 hole is in order.

Depending on positive side, try a 31/31 @" deep. That should get you a couple of feet longer.

By looking at my keyboard, My guess is justin meant to say 31/32" by 2" deep. Only an educated guess though, base on the fact that the @ sign is the same key on the keyboard as the #2. lol

No offense but I think its time for a new pro shop or driller. The customer is supposed to get what he or she wants regardless of whom says what. I know that it will help as well as every one else in the Motivation. Justin said so and he's the one who knows. Shoot tell him to ask Mo Pinel the genius who came up with the next generation of ball drilling and giving us the ability to know what the ball is Going to do before it hits the lane and to be able to fine tune after. Dual angle, gradient line balance hole placement, double thumb, etc..

A P1 hole decreases drilled differential. A P4 increases drilled differential.

For a ball to go straighter through the fronts you want to reduce differential. This may make the ball conserve a bit more energy and release it at the break point. That could be his concern.

A P4 will make matters worse, making the ball read sooner.

Box surface is 4k and polish, so it would be tough to get much more push from the surface.

yes Justin I think his concern was exactly that. I'm happy with the way the ball rolls but wanted more length up front.by changeing the core the ball will roll different and I might loose the reaction all together. if a cover adjustment works or not the changes are reversable. so I try the cover adjustments and go from there.

Placing a P1 will make it roll more like a 5-5.125" pin with no hole :)

You could plug the fingers and twist it over a bit around the thumb hole if all else fails.
