Hello, my name is Blair and I need suggestions on a ball for heavy oil and high volume tournament patterns. My stats:
Tweener/Stroker, 280-300 rpm, 15deg tilt, 40deg axis rotation,
15.5-16mph (17.5 mph off hand)
PAP - 4-7/8" right, 1/8" up
I just drilled up a Primal Rage (55x4.5x40) and love it, but I find that on longer patterns or when it gets tight down lane it does not tip to make the corner. I could defnitely use something above the Rage or maybe a second one with a different drilling. I'm just not sure if the cover or core is strong enough to help with my lower revs and more forward tilt. I'm thinking maybe pick up a Cruel Intent or possibly a 2-Cruel? I'm afraid to go Raptor Talon because rolly balls and I don't match up well.
Could someone help me out here with a selection and drilling. I would like something that retains the axis tilt and backend, but tips up sooner for longer patterns and carry down.
btw.. Justin, good bowling at the Simmons Rockwell Open this weekend.
