hi motivnation. i need your help again. i am buying a cruel to use for heavier sport shots specifically for the longer patterns. i need help with some more backend on the longer shots. i am a stroker style more down and in on these types of shots but i need a lyout when i need more backend and mid lane read.
here are my stats 16mph 60 ish axis rotation 14 tilt 260-275 revs high track, less than inch from thumb, 2inch from finger holes pap is 5 over 1/4 up
i was thinking of a 60 x4x60 but i am afraid of flaring over my thumb.

The thing you need to remember on longer, heavier patterns is the the ball needs to transition faster since you have less backend length. 60 x 4 x 60 might be a little to slow to make the turn to kick out the 10 pin. I would recommend 45 x 4 1/2 x 45 or possibly 35 x 5 x 45. Do to your high axis rotation you need to get the ball to transition quicker (lower drill angle compared to VAL and angle). Hope this helps

W/o seeing you throw it is alittle difficult making accurate recommendations, however, I was in a similar situation. I drilled a Cruel w/45x4x40 that didn't do much because it burned up all its' energy too soon. Justin recommended I try a 60x4.25x30 which I did & it reacted much better. The Cruel has a strong coverstock w/strong core and when you put a stron layout on it, the ball just burns up too soon. Hope this helps.
