Finally drilled my SR2 ,after talking with my ball driller we drilled it up 50 x 4 1/2 x 50 P2.5 hole, but now i've seen your Gradient Line update and think it may be a P3 hole. Started OOB first, ball was fine but ball driller felt it was too close to my Primal so we went to 4K much better read of our lane pattern that night . Next day bowled on a Scorpion pattern so we decided to go 2K this ball actualy read stronger in the midlane than my Cruel think thats because the Cruel is drilled weaker 55 x 5 x 35 so pin is above my bridge has a hole on my PAP. Thanks for the layout suggestion Justin. Think I may end up leaving this at 4K and may get another SR2 and leave it OOB. Also thinking about another Cruel with a stronger layout with more surface any suggestions Justin. Thanks

Gotta try a 60x20@3.25" on the Cruel. I have found that to be a really great performing layout on the Cruel.

Hey Justin my proshop has a Cruel that has only 12 games on it the span is close ,if I repitch the fingers and slug the thumb. We checked with my PAP and the ball will end up 50 x 3 1/2 x 30 with hole just above and inside my PAP.Surface is at 1500 saiiar pad,do you think this would be OK ? Will this be worth $80 dollars to try? :D :D :D

The only concern I would have is the 50* drilling angle, but it will just end up smooth. For 80 bucks it'll be a good smooth roller for you.

My SR2 supposedly is arriving today. Hopefully I get it punched up today as well. I have Bowling for Kids Sake (Big Brother Big Sisters) tonight and would like to use this as a test run for the SR2.

Is there any suggested layouts for the SR2 like I've seen for the Cruel?

Justin I bought that Cruel 50 x 3 3/8 x 30 this ball HOOOKS but you were right about being smooth.May try different surfaces to get some more pop. Hey Motostan put your favorite layout on the SR2 I know you will luv this ball dont be afraid to change the surface if you need to it takes surface adjustments just fine.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING

The SR2 responds well to a bunch of different patterns, that is a trait pretty typical of a benchmark ball. Pin under the ring low hole for smooth read, pin over the ring for more bounce. I can give you more specific measurements if you get me your PAP coordinates.

Try 1k and then jump straight to 4k to help it around the corner a little bit. The existing hole is a P2 so enlarging it won't help much.

I had it punched up with the original layout for my first ball I ever bought. First 4 games: 176, 206, 176, 214. Thanks for the advice.
