Hi, I'm looking for something that will open up the lane on the fresh for team event, and hopefully i can move left with as it transitions. I haven't used Motiv yet, so all I see is from the videos posted. My pap is 4 3/8 x 11/16 up, and have medium speed. I use "IT"s as well. Please also suggest a layout that I can give to my driller. Thx!

Now that the tournament is open, and scores are high, we'll get a better idea of what will match up. When do you go out to bowl?

I bowl the 27th & 28th of this month. So far, I only have a Slingshot going with me, and looking for 1-2? more pieces to round out nationals.

The Cruel and Primal look like great balls. Would those be a good 1-2 combo?

Also, when the product says "power gel" polish, does this polish also have a grit to it? So, the Primal says 2000 and power gel, so what is the actual finish? Thx.

The grit is the underlying surface before the application of the polish.

Ok, bowling this weekend. I have talked with a few wisconsin bowlers that have some connections and have friends that have bowled. So, here is what I am gathering so far. They are seeing alittle more hook off the back of the pattern than expected from the graphs. There is also alittle more room to the right, not free hook, but a touch of miss room. Seem as though more people are seeing some balls perform that were not expected to until dbls & singles...seeing action in team event. Myself, I will attack as I do every nationals I attend...Start at 11, breakpoint 7-9 and go in from there...seems as though with the additional volume up front the change maybe just balling down, not necessarily "chasing" it in.....

So, in the bag:
CRUEL - 55 x 5 1/4" x 60 (2000ab)
PRIMAL - 60 x 5" x 55 (4000ab + polish)
TR2 - 70 x 6" x 45 (1000ab)
SR2 - 70 x 4" x 40 (2000ab + polish)
QZ1 - 80 x 5" x 40 (2000)

Justin, any recommendations on drill layout for a Cruel & Primal? Speed is 15-16, 350+ rpm, low track, 90 side rotation, pap is 4 3/8 x 11/16 up, and I use "IT"s as well.

I want to use the Cruel to open up the lanes at nationals, and the Primal for when the Cruel is burning up.

The 90* rotation and a bit of tilt will make length easy.

Primal:
50x40@4.75"

It shouldn't need a hole right away. Throw it and let me know what it does and we'll place a hole if needed, if it rolls good as is you should be all set. You may find you want to touch it with 2k to combat your natural length.

Cruel:
55x30@3.75"

You'll most likely want to take the surface to 1k to get the burn you are looking for. This layout will make it a bit smoother so you can play straighter while frying a hook spot. Based on how much total flare you get with the layout, we'll place a hole. For your purposes you'll most likely end up with a P3, but your rev rate makes P2 a distinct possibility.

bowled a local tournament and they threw out the nationals shot and man it was soupy for me with the sr2 I was standing 5 (I drift 3 right) throwing at 6 board and got it to hook a bit but miss it right and buh bye and being left handed. I defiantly need more aggressive equipment come may.
