Seeing as I have an issue with early friction, I am going to try a drill pattern on this QZ1R.
70x20@5"
Hopefully drilling her up tomorrow.

I've seen you throw . . you would cover more boards than me even using a Black Beauty! Curious to see how this reacts for ya'. Should put the pin high up in the upper, right finger quadrant, correct?

How has that ball been reacting since you drilled it up?

Yes, I'm curious to know how the ball reacted for you. But you are such an animal that you can hook the cover off the ball no matter what the layout. Also, love the Stella Artois sticker on the drill press. You have good taste!!

Don't know yet, haven't had a chance to throw it. But as soon as I do you guys will be the first to know Bob Michalojko wrote: Also, love the Stella Artois sticker on the drill press. You have good taste!! That was placed there 3 years ago at our Christmas party, I was drilling a ball and pulled the label off my beer and stuck it there haha. Stella is the ONLY beer I'll drink. I'm a wino.

Got to throw it for the first time on Wednesday.
It is super clean through the fronts, doesn't like gobs of oil in the middle, and pops nicely on the back.
Went strike, pocket 7-10, ring 10 on the last ball for 267 for first game. Then left 3 7pins the first three frames of the second game and switched to the SX1 and bailed out a 223 and 229 for 719.
I was going to try and use the QZR all night but the backs got funky and I needed the heavier, earlier roll of the SX to tame it. This house shot isn't really what I drilled this ball for anyway but it worked pretty nicely.
I haven't thrown a ball in 3 weeks so I'm happy.

Hey Justin, Can you post a vid of the ball reaction? I'm very curious to see how it moves.
