Ok, here we go again.
I've had to change span, pitches and delivery due to my arthritis. Hopefully this the last major adjustment I'll need. These changes have effected my specs somewhat.
Rev rate - 260 Axis rotation - 80 Axis tilt - 15 Speed - 18 mph
I'll need to get the Cruel LE redrilled. Is the previous 55x25@4" still what I need to go with?
I still haven't punched the Primal. Is your previous recommendation of 50x45@4.75 still what I need?
I also have a TX1 on the way. What layout do you recommend for it?
Thanks in advance for your help.

If you can tweak the LE, 50x35@4".
45x40@4.5" hole 2.5" down the VAL on the Primal.
Your rotation and tilt create easy length. Gotta try and get the balls started up for you to carry effectively.

Justin,
How big a hole 2.5 down the VAL? Just enough for static legality?

Start with 7/8" 2.5" deep, should get it legal, if you want it to start up a bit sooner go to 31/32".

Justin,
The man drilling my Primal has a question. He understands what we're trying to do but wants some clarification due to my short span. His take on the layout seems to be that the pin position after drilling will add length (which I don't need) and wonders if a pin down layout would be more appropriate.
While I am slowly learning more about such things as I go along, this discussion is beyond my knowledge level at this time. So, if you can explain it to me, I'll convey your thoughts and reasoning.
Thanks for the help

The pin being up or down is irrelevant. What matters is the distance and angle measurements in relation to your PAP. I'm not sure where exactly it will fall without knowing your span, but it will most likely be above and to the right of your ring finger.

Thanks, Justin. I don't know where the confusion started but I passed your info along and they're punching it up. Got a family bbq tomorrow so I to try it out on Monday.

Can you say, "OOPS!!"? Proshop drilled the Primal at 3.5 instead of 4.5. Widening the weight hole to 31/32 and taking the finish to 1K helped the ball reaction but I have to play more in the dry area of the pattern to get the ball to move much.
Subbed in a league tonight and shot 202, 216, and 204 on Deadman's Curve pattern. Was playing up 9 board with little room for error. Should have scored better but opened twice in each game.
They said they'd replace it if I desired. I haven't made up my mind yet. What would the 4.5" pin do vs the 3.5" pin they drilled?

3.5" pin, P3 hole, and 1k surface will do literally nothing in the back half of the lane. This ball would only be appropriate if you want to play straight and have the ball to stop in the midlane.
I'd get the new one with an appropriate layout.
