I'm in Tallahassee! Maybe we'll have to go throw a few next time you come into town...=)

I should be down there around the middle of May. Wouldn't mind throwing a few with another Motiv user.

EDIT: Measurements are scheduled for today. I will update this thread and take suggestions as soon as I get them.

I know that the forums have been down basically all weekend, but curious if you ever got your measurements done.

Like I said, the pro shops around here are just difficult to work with. No, I did not because, and I quote, "PAP is just a marketing tool". No need to figure out rev rate or tilt. :(

So looks like I'm going to drive a few miles this week and try the next pro shop on the list.

I can't believe that they would tell you that and then still not help you with the request.

I can understand that one person can throw out their opinion, but if I have the customer come in and request for something that I know I can deliver or do for them, then I'll do it and keep my mouth shut.

I guess you really do have some bad pro shop guys around you.

I finally found a pro-shop just over 35 miles from where I live. Night and day difference. I couldn't believe. I got their early on Good Friday and he watched me bowl an entire game. Then found my PAP (5" right, 1.25" down). Drilled up my Cruel and Cruel LE and right out of the shop: 215, 210, 246= 671 which is my highest series ever.

Couldn't be happier. Now I'm debating plugging and having him redrill my SR2, TR2 and GT1.

What layouts did you end up using on the Cruels?

Looks like you weren't that far off from my own PAP and you being a fellow no thumber.

I'm also curious of what kind of drill layouts you got and if you are able to maybe shoot some video of you throwing the Cruel and Cruel LE.

Might be helpful to me since I kind of want to get the Cruel LE myself.

Sorry for the delayed response.

The Cruel LE was 65x55@5". After I threw a game with the LE (the 215), he had an idea for the Cruel which seemed really weird to me but it worked out wonderfully. I emailed him again yesterday just to make sure I had the numbers right: 65x80@2". Bowled the 210, 246 with the Cruel.
