My raptor has been shipped so I need a suggested layout for it please.
Current stats:
Rev rate - 260 Axis rotation - 80 Axis tilt - 10 Speed - 18 mph
My Cruel LE and Primal are both working well for me. LE is drilled 50x35@4 P3 with 1k surface. Primal is drilled 45x40@4.5 WiHole with 2k surface.
Thanks for your input.

If I had to take a stab at this I would think maybe 60x40@5" for you.
Since you are more speed dominant, it'll get you further down lane, but still give you plenty of pop on the backend since it'll retain energy.
I could be completely wrong, but I think based off what I have learned so far and what I have seen on a few Raptor balls, this would work.

You could be right but the sum seems a bit high for me. My tilt and rotation give me length so the layout shouldn't need to provide any (as I understand things). I'll wait and see if Justin has any recommendations. The ball will arrive Monday so I have a couple days I to see if Justin can find time in his busy schedule to chime in.
Thanks for the input tho, FUPA.

Speed dominance plus 80* of rotation equals easy length. 10* of tilt is the toughest part to dial, because the ball wants to yank instead of read. Surface will be your friend, don't be afraid of 1k or even 500. You need the layout to retain tilt, and the surface to trigger the first transition.
50x30@3" most likely a P3 or P4 hole. Throw it box surface with no hole and let me know how it rolls to finalize the hole placement and surface.

You aren't far off John, but the rotation and speed require a ball that will speed up the first transition because he has built in easy length.
The 10* of tilt is low, so you want the ball to retain some of it, hence the shorter pin to pap on an asymmetrical ball.

Thanks, Justin. Going to try and get it punched Tuesday afternoon and will check back that evening with the results. Wanna get it dialed in before Thursday so I can show it off at a sweeper that night.

You're welcome!
This is all part of the learning process and what makes it fun for me. It also doesn't hurt to have the guru right behind you to fix any errors or blunders, haha!

Got my Raptor punched today...50x30@3 as recommended. As it sits, I have 2 ounces of side. Didn't have a lot of spare time but did throw a dozen shots with it. Track flare is about 3 inches wide. I taped the short practice session. You can see a half dozen shots using several lines at-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMwil10tjT8Justin, I await your recommendation on GLBH placement, size and depth and where you think I should start with surface adjustment. Thanks in advance for your input.

I would place a P3.5 hole, spin that puppy up a little quicker for you.
