my vertical pap is 1/1/2 up and all the pins end up 1 inch up from my fingers because I also have a short span of 3 6/16 cut to cut.
question; is with my pins so high on the ball does it make it hard for me to get some balls to rev up. or does it make no difference.

Location: Coldwater, Michigan what is your question here?

Badbeard....what is keeping you pins so high is your VAL angle is very little, which equates to a very fast revving, transitioning very quick ball motion....which is probably why they seem to labor on the backends. My thought would be to do something like a 60 x 4" x 50 and see if you see any difference in ball motion, tweak the surface alittle to tune....let us know how it goes...
