I want to build an all-MOTIV 3 ball arsenal based around my first MOTIV ball, the QZ1 Red. Just looking to get some ideas.

My QZ1 Red is drilled pretty strong, 4"X4" pin up. On a house shot it gives me medium-ish amount of overall hook, with most of the motion being backend. I wouldn't have a problem moviing way left and swinging it if the shot got burnt up, so I'm thinking the QZ1 will be my light-medium ball. Let me know what you guys think.

Matt

SR2 and SX1.

That sigma block is special.

I love the TR2 because it is so versatile with layouts and cover. But my most favorite ball is def. the SR2. SX1 is a great ball to have with the SR2.

Which ball would hook more if laid out similarly the SR2 or the SX2? also, How muuch more overall hook does the TR2 provide? (Say that's laid out the same too)

Thanks in advance.

For me, both balls OOB drilled roughly the same were close in reaction. However, after some surface adjustments, I was able to tame the SX2. It appears to be the better ball for medium conditions. As for the TX1, thats a different animal. The Thrust core, for me anyway, is much more rolly, where the Sigma core is a little more skid/flippy. Each one has its place depending on what the pattern is. My line-up as it is now is: slighty scotch brighted SR2 for heaviest juice, TR2 (abralon to 1000, no polish) and SX1 (polished with compound), depending on conditions. There is about a 3 board difference between the SR2 and the other balls. The SX and TR seem to go back and forth a little depending on lane condition. Hope this helps.

SR2 in the backend, and overall by a few boards. The SX1 reads a tick earlier, and is smoother.

In box surface, 5 or 6 possibly more depending on your roll.
