I just got home from getting my Recon punched and this ball is great. I don't know how else to explain it or really say at all.
I should have had this added to my bag a very long time ago. It definitely completes my arsenal up till now and I can't wait to really use this on lighter patterns or just dry lanes.
I shot a few games with the ball on very slick lanes and it did alright and especially towards the end when it seemed like the lane was breaking a bit.
Game 1: 178 Game 2: 179 Game 3: 205 Series Total: 562
Could have been better and I think that it definitely will be on the right conditions or with maybe even a bit more surface on the ball. I'll get to play around with this more tomorrow and I'll bowl plenty to break down the lanes and get them dry for sure.
Thanks has to once again go to Justin for the great layout suggestion and helping me out as usual and I also have to thank my driller Stan cause he does awesome work!

As you know, I spoke with you yesterday about getting the QZ2 Backdraft.
I went ahead and placed my order and requested that I get one with at least the 3" pin per your suggestion. I guess the only thing that we need to come up with now would be the layout.
I'm not sure what you were maybe thinking, but I'm sure we can find a good place of where it can fit in my bag.
Let me know what you think about it!

Do 45x50@4", P3 hole on the Backdraft.

You think that you could do that layout for me on Monday or when you are back in the shop? Just want to see what it would look like for when Stan lays it out as well.
Also, what kind of reaction would I get out of this? I would assume length with backend?
Oh yeah, this was done based on you still knowing my span stuff? If not, then I might want to get that to you again so we don't have any surprises the day I get it punched, haha!

I just got my Backdraft punched today and really is a great ball. I'm glad that I actually ended up adding it to my arsenal cause I was very close to passing on it and only going with the Raptor this month.
Went with the 45x50@4" and instead of the P3 hole it looks like another WiHole like I have in my SR2, but that's ok. It hits extremely hard and it's very predictable on the lane.
I played probably around 15 games with it today and averaged around 190 and easily 6 strikes per game. Not bad out of the box and can't wait to actually use it in oil tomorrow.
I'd include the picture, but I'm on my phone and it doesn't allow me to post it on here.

I got my order placed for the Raptor and I am hoping that maybe it'll come a little before the 22nd, but we can all wish, right?
Anyway, I guess it's that time again to come up with the layout. As you know, I would like for this ball to be aggressive as possible cause I have yet to really do that with any of my other balls in the arsenal.
Plus, I have seen what this ball can do and it would be fun to have that in my bag when I need to pull it out. Although, if you have another suggestion of what I should do with this one and you think it would work best for me.
Then feel free to throw it out there for me.

55x40@4" P3 hole has been doing really good on Raptors.

Would you say that is going to be aggressive for me or no? Also, what kind of look is it going to give me on the lane?
Just curious and I'll get you my span again so I can have you draw it up on the ball for me to show. Don't want to make the mistake with the P3 hole again and it turn into another WiHole, haha!

It'll go 70 feet and turn right at the last second.
