If there is one experimental thing that I had left to try out with the current line, it was a label leverage GT1. The 2 other label leverage balls I drilled for myself over the last few years rolled very badly for me. The straight leverage block made them flare far too much because of my hand. I am counting on the lower diff block in the GT to allow me to get a good read out of this layout.

I have the 300/800 tournament here in town on Sunday, and I am drilling the label leverage GT tomorrow. I'll continue on with pictures and an account of how practice and the tourney goes throughout the weekend.

I'll also write a summary of my experiences with the 6 different GT1s over the last 8 months. Hopefully someone will find a useful tidbit somewhere in this recounting.

The measurements ended up at 110x55@3 3/8". Straight leverage with a 165 degree angle sum. Based on the numbers this will go long and be smooth. I'll throw it tomorrow to assess any needed surface adjustment, and if I have a good look I'll use it Sunday. obviously I'm not going to jeopardize success in a tournament because I want to throw it, but you never know. It will be interesting to see how this rolls.

It left me a smasher 4-9 first shot so I switched to my GT with the pin over the bridge.

Managed to pull a muscle in my chest at this tourney, that is why I have been quiet the last couple of weeks.

No stretching and ripping the first one isn't usually a good idea when you start to get old like me.

Fortunately golf hasn't aggravated it.
