Hey MOTIVators, I need to know if Motiv is making a plastic ball. I will need one for the Regionals latter this summer, but I don't want to buy one if you will be releasing one soon. The XXXL is no longer approved for use with the PBA (thanks a lot Lane #1, Take away my Cheetah killer). I always like having a strong drilled plastic in the bag, for instance this afternoon in practice all the Motiv balls rolled early or fliped to hard to control. After that the track was broken down, and out came Plastic, 248, 269, 230, 248 = 995 (+195 with Plastic). I also looked up my records, and with a combination of urethane and Plastic over the last 16 games on cheetah I've averaged 220.6, including a 300. There is something special about a heavy weight block in a plastic shell. It seems to transfer all the energy from my arm and hand and send it all to the pins. Now I'm not super human the XXXL is sanded to about 500 grit, but I have doubts that a pancake weight block could do that sort of damage.

En fuego,

Michael

Can you give an estimate on the timeframe? I am going to be going to Jacksonville in October for the Southern Regional and am wondering if it will be released by then. I have 5 motiv balls in my bag, and have given away all my other balls, except for the spare ball I have to keep for now.

Great to hear. Scott I can't emphasize enouph about needing a weight block in the plastic shell. I shot 997 for 4 games on the chameleon. That was sick using plastic. It's been my Achilles' heel since they changed it last year, and I found a way around that now. I got most of it on video and I'll post it on youtube soon. The weight block seems to store all the energy and when It touches the pocket it carries almost every hit. If you put a strong flaring core like the thrust in it. We will have the only plastic with a core that is PBA aproved for regionals. That will be huge. The highest flaring plastic in history, like what the Natural did for urethane. With some surface the high rev guys will make the cheetah look like a house shot. If you would like a tester who can make a plastic to tricks let me know, I would be glad to take some vacation days to come up and visit HQ. Thanks guys.

Still "un Fuego",

Michael

It would have to be like..... SP3... *Sigma Block* *Plastic Cover* *3rd Generation*

To stick true to the current naming system..

Or

PP1 *Pancake Block* *Poly/Plastic Cover* *1st Generatiion*

I like either

Why not? Just make it yellow...lol.

If not, then how about the TP1 (a bit cleaner than pp).

Just think. After saying "ih crap" after leaving a corner pin, you'll have something to "clean it up" with.

Just my thoughts...

Staying MOTIVated...
