Who runs this website? How did they get the info? I've seen & throw proto-types but not seen this type of info on the ball yet. Did Scott & Scott 'ok' this? Just curiousity questions.
Can't wait to get this ball for real. Love what I see in the proto-type. SWEET !!

I am getting ready to purchase an SR2. Is the new "Cruel" a similar ball? Do they both have asymmetrical cores? Sorry for all the questions,..I just want to make sure that if I bought a "Cruel" too I don't have balls that are close in their reactions. I want to have a diversified arsenal, and at first glance the "SR2" and the "Cruel' look similar. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Brett, Yes, your advice is VERY helpfull. After my previous post I researched a little more and found that the Cruel is Motiv's first asymmetrical ball in its line. I am also under the impression that symmetrical balls are a little easier to control than an asymmetrical, being a little smootherr at the breakpoint.
That said I am calling my proshop and placing an order for an SR2, this ball may be a little better suited for me at this point.
Thanks again for your help Brett

You should really like the Sr2. It's a great starting ball out of the bag. Read the lanes off that ball, then go from there. I've started and finished with it plenty of times now, successfully. That Cruel will be a WET lane ball I'd say, just looking at the stats. If Sr2 can't cut thru it, that cruel will! Good luck!

"The Cruel is a far more aggressive piece and provides a distinct ball reaction from that of the SR2. Even if you put the exact same layout on these two balls you would have remarkably different ball reactions."
That being said, I'll ask this question to whomever wishes to answer...
I have an Sr2 drilled 4.5" pin, weight hole right of thumb... I'm right handed btw...
With that same drilling, what would the Cruel do? The Sr2 with this drilling goes long and snaps hard. Would the cruel do this as well, but maybe grab sooner due to the surface? That's just what I'm assuming, but I could be wrong. What would be a good drilling for this ball to compliment my Sr2?
My Sr2 with that drilling, is a pretty good THS ball for me, so I'm thinking the Cruel would compliment it for when they're wetter, replacing my Virtual Gravity.
